We're a small team — Jen, Marcus, three apprentices, and a hound named Otto who patrols the cooling racks. Every message gets read by a person who actually knows the pans. We do most of our customer service by email; pick the right address below and we'll answer within one business day.

I have a question about a pan or an order in flight.

Order changes, address corrections, missing packages, sizing questions before you buy, exchanges within the 60-day trial window. Include your order number if you have one.

— Warranty Claims

Something has gone wrong with my pan.

Cracks, warping, casting flaws, handle separation — anything that looks like a defect rather than normal wear. A clear photo of the issue + your order number lets us turn the claim around faster.

I'm writing about cast iron and would like a quote, an image, or a sample.

We're happy to help. Please include your publication, deadline, and the angle you're working on. We can usually turn around a quote within 48 hours and high-resolution images same-day.

I run a kitchen shop and want to carry the skillet.

We work with a very small number of independent kitchen and hardware stores. If you have a brick-and-mortar location and would like to apply, send us the details — store name, city, what else you carry.

Our response promise

Every email is answered by a real human at the foundry. Routine questions get a reply within one business day; warranty claims and complicated questions can take two or three days because we want to think them through and give you a real answer rather than a templated one.

Casting and grinding are loud and hot. Hearing protection and closed-toe shoes are required if you'd like a behind-the-scenes look. Email visit@hearthstoneiron.com a few days in advance to arrange.

A note on phone calls: we don't run a phone line for customer service. We've found that email lets us answer thoughtfully and keeps a written record of every conversation, which makes warranty claims and order tracing dramatically easier on both ends. The lack of a call queue is a feature, not a limit — your message goes to the front of an actual person's inbox, not a hold loop.
